Upon entering, you will feel how cherished this restaurant is by Monte Carlo’s regulars, ever since its doors were opened in 1946, in the heart of the Carré d’Or, a few steps away from the Casino gardens: Rampoldi’s magic has never stopped charming people since then.
With just a little stroke of luck, here you can meet international celebrities and the members of the Royal Family that so often sit at these tables to enjoy Rampoldi’s legendary Dolce Vita.
Today this jewel shines of a new light, thanks to a radical, two years-long architectural facelift that had long been awaited by the Monegasque people and the regulars.

























As soon as you step through the front door, let the royal harmony of the dining room enrapture you, a fabulous atmosphere inspired by the Belle Époque with warm marble and wood tones, the decorated ceiling, crystal chandeliers, arched mirrors on the walls and comfortable dove-grey leather chairs. Almost by magic the restaurant’s design has been updated, without sacrificing the unmistakable charm of the old Rampoldi.
And if you want to feel involved in the creation of the dishes, you may watch the chef working alongside his team past the glass of the magnificent open plain kitchen: a beautiful culinary ballet!

Starting from this June you can enjoy the privilege of dining or having lunch on the temporary terrace with a breath-taking view across the Principality.
In the outdoor area, which is heated and decorated with the same care as the indoor areas, the chef’s delicacies are served year round except for the month of May, when the terrace is disassembled to allow the passage of the Grand Prix.
In winter, the restaurant’s cocktail bar is an elite meeting place for a drink in a friendly atmosphere.
The evening then continues in the smoking lounge and the music lounge, with the privacy and privileges of an exclusive club.

Rampoldi celebrated its 70th birthday on 7th December 2016, looking back on its history and the values that have marked its many years of tradition.
The milestone was celebrated in memorable style, with Prince Albert II and Princess Marina De Bourbon in attendance along with institutional figures, celebrities and the Monegasque beau monde who have long made the restaurant their home.
